Training at our kennel is like none other in the state of Louisiana.
In addition to your dog's daily training session, we enjoy spending time with each dog. We work on socialization, manners & overall behavior issues. Your dog won't be sitting in a kennel all day, just waiting for training. Your dog will have plenty of activity daily. After training, she will also enjoy relaxing in one of our seven outdoor dog yards on our farm.
We are certified Canine Good Citizen Evaluators by the American Kennel Club.
Our program is for puppies of all breeds, beginning at 13 weeks.
Obedience Training is one of the best things you can do for your puppy and yourself.
From birth to 6 months old, your pup will receive the most significant impressions of life. Your puppy is a little 'sponge,' and this is the best time to introduce him to his future. Puppy obedience training doesn't solve all behavior issues but it is the foundation for solving any problem. Training opens up a line of communication between you and your dog.
We will informally introduce your pup to several basic obedience commands.

For the Retriever Pup, we will introduce your puppy to the environments of the field. We will also expose them to ducks, gunfire, and swimming. (weather permitting)

***We start our programs on the 1st and 15th of every month. Space is limited, so please schedule in advance to reserve a spot for your dog. We require a $100.00 non-refundable deposit to reserve your spot. The remaining $1,700.00 will be due at the time of drop-off.

Basic Obedience is essential for each dog and its owner.
By working with your dog on "self-control," we can address problems you are having with your dog at home. We believe that a properly trained dog is happier and healthier throughout his life. Obedience training helps make dogs more manageable and responsive to commands. It is crucial to teach Obedience whether he will be a performance dog competing in hunt tests, a hunting buddy, or a family companion.
