Mardi Gras 2018 - Metairie, LA
I can’t thank Jennifer enough for taking such excellent care of my chocolate lab puppy, Stella, 12 year old Yorkie, Gracie and my daughter’s 10 year old mixed lab, Lilly while we were on vacation during Mardi Gras. The dogs had a great time at Y-Farms and Kennel! It’s obvious Jennifer loves what she does and loves each dog as if they were her own. Our dogs made many news friends during their stay. They socialized with all types and sizes of dogs, swam in the pool and had a great time in the play yard. Jennifer provided us with pictures and videos every couple of days so we could see that they were safe, happy and enjoying their stay. It was easy to see the love and quality care our fur babies were being given by Jennifer and her staff.
Winter, 2018 - Metairie, LA
After grieving the loss of our 16 year old chocolate lab, I began searching for a quality breeder in order to surprise my husband with a new puppy for Christmas. After learning of Y-Farms and Kennel and their excellent reputation, I placed a deposit on a female from Mile’s and Oopsie’s litter due to arrive the week of Thanksgiving. Jennifer was great to work with and provided weekly photos and videos of the puppies until our Stella was old enough to come home. When we picked up Stella, she was perfect! Jennifer was very friendly and professional. The registration documents, and bill of sale had been prepared, she provided us with health records from her vet, and provided us with food as well as allowing us time to have Stella examined by our own vet. We took Stella to our vet who advised Stella was in excellent health, She said Stella had a beautiful, healthy coat, and had been very well cared for. Stella is doing great and is a sweet, loving puppy. We couldn’t have asked for a better puppy. cared for.
spring 2017 - New Orleans
Our lab puppy desperately needed some obedience training. She is a sweet girl but very rambunctious.I believe Jen called her "sassy" which is completely accurate! As hard as it was to drop her off to camp for several weeks it was worth every minute when we saw how effective the training was. She was transformed! She walks so well on a leash, no more constant barking or jumping, and she listens to my commands. She was well taken care of and seemed very happy while she was there. We will certainly be back for boarding as well. Can't thank you all enough!!
Spring 2017 - St. Francisville
Our Giant Schnoodle, Hebert, loves to go to Y-Farms! In fact, we say he's going to the farm, not the kennel. Hebert is 9 and has been going to stay there for at least 5 years and we have never had a bad experience. Jennifer treats him like one of her own, which is something we never had anywhere else. It means a lot to us to know he's happy and having a good time while we are away. We highly recommend Y-Farms!
2014-2017 - Baton Rouge
I have used Y-Farms for several years both to board and train my Lab. I can say they have always treated her like she was their own. They keep me informed of her condition while she is in their care. My dog actually knows when we turn on the road to Y-Farms and she gets so excited she does back flips in the car. I would refer them to anyone considering training or boarding their dog to try Y-Farms Kennels!
