"Rouge" is a sweet & affectionate pup with a sweet laid back personality. He is loves the water & he LOVES ducks! He has finished his puppy obedience training. We have begun his retriever training. He is currently training daily with our hunting retrievers. Rouge shows lots of promise to be a nice hunt test competitor, gun dog and family companion.

Kit has been a absolute joy to own! She is an unbelieveable athlete, with the drive to work like a beast. Kit makes the best hunting buddy. She is very flexible. From Hunting out of a blind, hunting in cat tails (where she can't see anything), hunting off of a stand or cypress stump, or just hunting out of a boat, it is never a issue with our girl. 

Kit has the wonderful ability to shift gears from a retrieving machine to a house dog in about 1 second. She is one of the very best family companions that we have ever owned. She would sleep in our bed every night if we would allow her to. Kit is very well mannered. When we are working on our farm, Kit is always near by just quietly just hanging out. It is very seldom that we will hear her bark, she's a very quiet girl. 

Kit weighs about 65-70lbs. and has a gorgeous shiny black coat. Kit's Hips are OFA "Excellent", Elbow's "Normal", CNM "Clear", EIC "Clear"

Rouge’s dad is HRCH Y-Farms LSU Mad Hatter SH  "Miles"

Miles is one of our true hunting buddies, there is hardly ever a trip that Miles doesn't get to go. If you see us hunting, you will see Miles, too. Miles is a large framed dog, he weighs about 80-85 lbs. Miles has a very athletic build with a gorgeous shiny Chocolate coat.

He is a retriever with alot of determination when he is hunting. He will do what ever it takes to get the job completed - cold water no problem, freezing temps with ice no problem, thunder storms while in the blind no problem, retrieving out of a duck blind that he has no way to see the ducks fall, a wounded duck that's very much alive & under water no problem. Miles is a happy dog! If we miss a duck or it's a slow day and the ducks are not flying, he is always quietly sitting next to us with his tail wagging the entire time. 

Miles has his AKC Senior Hunter Title & his HRC Hunter Retriever Champion title. Miles is a grandson from our kennel, his grandmother 'Lady' was the first chocolate dog that our family owned. She was born in 1998 & lived a long happy life for 14 years. Lady produced many nice pups over the years. One of our favorite pups was Maximum Force High Tide "Maxx".

HRCH Maximum Force High Tide MH "Maxx" was Miles' dad, he was owned by Jeff Kennedy of Zachary, LA. We loved Maxx and chose him as one of our stud dogs. Not only was Maxx a good looking dog, he had such a strong desire to work. Maxx was sweet dog with a happy personality. One of the many stories that have been told to us about Maxx, was how calm and relaxed that he would be when he was in the duck blind or boat on a slow hunting day. He would lay down and quietly wait for the ducks. Maxx had the best of it all, drive to work and the ability to calm down and be a joy to take hunting!  Maxx was a titled HRC Hunting Retriever Champion  &  a titled AKC Master Hunter. He was a avid duck dog & a nice family dog as well. Miles' mom was Casey's Junebug Roux, "June" was a very well bred female. The very talented GRHRCH UH Dakota's Cajun "Roux" MH was her sire & a very well bred avid duck dog was her dam. June had so much drive and desire to work, she loved the water & loved ducks.
