Yesterday, I felt the strong urge to stay close to home. I can't tell you exactly what my issue was but I am happy we did.
Around 3pm Rose went into labor. This was the oddest hardest painful experience that I have seen one of my dog's have to work through in a very long time, possibly ever. Rose had carried 13 puppies, over the course of her long labor, she had 4 still born puppies. I was with her every step of the way, I worked on each puppy but to no avail. Rose had her last puppy 24 hours her labor began. This is odd! We have 4 chocolate males, 4 black males & 1 chocolate female that have survived thus far. I believe that we have a very hard week ahead of us, meaning Rose and me.
I am so grateful for the new life at our kennel, we are just gonna have to "work" for it!!!!!
