Happy New Year!!! Early this morning Brad, Drew,Trent & our retriever "Kit" headed to Mississippi for a morning hunt. The temps were well below freezing but it didn't deter the guys. The duck boat was loaded down with decoys as they headed out. Our truck had 3 excited hunters along with 1 anxious retriever raring to go pick up some birds.
I chose to stay at home in my warm bed, knowing that there was a possibility of missing an awesome hunt.
Well...... let's just say that I should have braved the freezing temps and gone with the guys.
By 9am they had shot their limit of Mallards & Grey ducks.
Way to go!!!
It makes my heart leap to see pictures of the guys & Kit doing what they wait all year to do.
