A little bit about Swat...
Swat hails from a lineage of highly accomplished field trial and hunt test competitors, with both of his parents making their mark in the world of working retrievers. His dam, "Honey," known as Y-Farms Honey on the Move, boasts an impressive resume as a 6-time Grand Hunting Retriever Champion, Upland Hunter, Hall of Famer, Master Hunter, and 4-time Master National Hunter. On the paternal side, Swat's sire, "Mickey," also contributes to the family's legacy as a Field Champion and Amateur Field Champion. Mickey is a five-time recipient of the Purina Outstanding Retriever Award and held the prestigious title of the 2019 Top Open & Amateur Retriever in the nation. As of July 2023, Mickey has notched up 16 Open wins, 22 Amateur wins, and 305 All Age points, as highlighted in a Retriever News magazine article from July 2023. Turning the spotlight onto Swat himself, he achieved his Hunting Retriever Champion title before reaching the age of two. By 2 1/2, Swat added the AKC Master Hunter title to his repertoire. Known for his team spirit and a strong desire to please his handler, Swat also excels as a hunting dog, consistently retrieving ducks and geese each season. Notably, Swat successfully completed all five series of the 2023 AKC Master Nationals in Georgia. Beyond his impressive work credentials, Swat is a beloved family companion inside the home, he has a very sweet and affectionate demeanor.Fun Fact:
