A Little Bit about Miles:
Miles holds a special place in our hearts as a "once in a lifetime" dog and a true hunting companion. We rarely embark on a hunting trip without Miles by our side. Weighing approximately 80-85 lbs with a large frame and a stunning shiny chocolate coat, Miles embodies athleticism and beauty. This happy retriever exudes determination during hunts, facing various challenges with ease. Whether it's retrieving in cold water, enduring freezing temperatures with ice, or braving thunderstorms in the blind, Miles tackles every task with enthusiasm. Even on slow days or missed ducks, Miles remains by our side, tail wagging, and spirits high. Miles boasts an impressive list of titles, including his AKC Senior Hunter Title and HRC Hunter Retriever Champion title. As a grandson from our kennel, Miles has a distinguished lineage, with his grandmother 'Lady' being the first female chocolate dog our family owned. Lady, born in 1998, lived a happy life for 14 years and produced many beloved pups. Among them, HRCH Maximum Force High Tide MH "Maxx," Miles' father, stood out. Maxx was not only good-looking but also had a strong work ethic and a sweet, happy personality. Titled as HRC Hunting Retriever Champion and AKC Master Hunter, Maxx showcased drive and the ability to bring joy to hunting trips with his calm demeanor in the duck blind. Miles' mother, Casey's Junebug Roux, descended from the talented GRHRCH UH Dakota's Cajun "Roux" MH and a well-bred duck dog. June inherited drive and a love for the water and ducks. Miles, carrying the legacy of his lineage, continues to be a remarkable hunting companion and a source of joy for our family.
